Overview

The Regional KIS 100 event on 17 January 2011 promoted service innovation in France by bringing together the regional stakeholders in this field.

Innovation practitioners, policy makers as well as SMEs and industry experts came together to network and discuss ways to enhance innovation in the service sector. A number of regional SMEs that are successful in knowledge intensive industries have showcased their approach to service innovation. In addition, the issues of how regions can support the emergence and growth of knowledge intensive service companies for example through clusters or regional support measures has been discussed.

The event was hosted by the Centre Francilien de l'Innovation.
