The 17th edition of the Tech Tour Benelux Venture Forum will take place on the 21-22 of November, 2017 in Maastricht, Heerlen and Geleen. The Forum is convening 40 early stage companies who will present in front of an investor jury composed of key industry players including venture capitalist, corporate investors and business angels. The Forum will bring together companies and investors in smart services, healthcare, food and nutrition, and materials.

 

The Forum plays an important role in the European and Benelux innovation scene. It fosters start-ups in the high-tech industry and it promotes Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands as innovative, attractive and interesting countries to do business or to invest in. The presenting companies take part of the Forum as part of the European Venture Contest, which comprises of a series of regionally and vertically focused Venture Forums where 1250+ companies from 36 countries apply, and the top quartile from each event are selected to present at the EVC Final, Tech Tour’s yearly flagship event for discovering emerging talent in Europe.

 

The Tech Tour 2017 Benelux Venture Forum includes the following interactive programme:

  • CEO Venture Academy where CEOs dry-pitch their presentations and receive feedback from coaches
  • How to structure an effective presentation” by Youssef Sabbah (Tech Tour)
  • Opening speech by Leon Klinkers (Brightlands Innovation Factory) and William Stevens (Tech Tour)
  • Company presentation sessions in food and agro, smart services, healthtech and materials
