2017 has been a very engaging year for Tech Tour and we are excited to share with you some of our achievements that have had a huge impact on the way we do business.

 

New platform launched

Through persistence and determination we finally unveiled Tech Tour 2.0 and relaunched our entire website and platform in July 2017. We have big plans for how we will develop the platform in 2018. Investors, entrepreneurs and corporates alike will find something to suit their needs and to help them stay on top of opportunity, be it staying in touch online, searching for dealflows, or finding information on companies and investors.

The International Venture Club, one of Europe's leading co-investment and syndication platforms, powered by Tech Tour, also benefited from a face lift and additionally celebrated its own milestone reaching the 75 member mark.

 

 

Expanded events and partnerships

We expanded our scope to include in 2017 data for health, tech transfer, deep tech, and industry and materials. We are also celebrating the longevity of some of our events, with the Nordic Venture Forum and Benelux Venture Forum reaching their 15th and 17th editions respectively.

2017 also marked the successful completion of InvestHorizon as the EU Horizon 2020's investment readiness programme, supporting 3000 tech companies with Tech Tour as the lead/coordinator of the programme.

We proudly welcomed new partners to our events Pitchbook who act as Data Partner for several of our Growth events and Slush with whom we collaborated on a special investor lunch at this year's edition of Slush. We also warmly thank all of our long-term partnerships whose support has been invaluable in 2017. Not only this, thank you also to our volunteers who have made each one of our events a great success.

 

 

2017 data

We hosted 28 events including 6 ePitch events across 4 sectors in sustainability tech (4 events), digital tech and fintech (2 events), and healthtech (5 events) and a number of multi-sector events (11 events), welcoming a total of 4800 participants across 2017.
