The Tech Tour Food & Bioeconomy 2026 Investment Programme culminated in an event on 7–8 October 2026 in Ås, in the Oslo region of Norway. The event brought together 30 selected companies, over 40 seasoned investors and facilitated more than 100 One2One meetings.
The programme focused on innovations across Agriculture, Plant-based and Aquaculture, Biodiversity, Circular, Ingredients, AI and B2C. Selected companies presented their technologies and business solutions to leading investors and industry experts.
Six companies were recognised as Top Presenters for their outstanding presentations.
Top Presenting Companies
AquaNab Solutions develops alpaca-derived nanoantibodies to combat pathogens in aquaculture, particularly sea lice in salmon farming. Its non-toxic approach aims to reduce fish mortality, environmental pollution and the carbon footprint of aquaculture operations.
Koralo develops a clinically validated postbiotic ingredient for food and feed applications. Its patented co-fermentation technology combines microalgae and mushroom mycelium to produce bioactive compounds with potential benefits for metabolic, gastrointestinal and neurological health.
Luya Foods uses proprietary solid-state fermentation technology to transform food industry by-products, including okara, into organic, additive-free protein alternatives. Its licensing model enables food producers to upcycle by-products directly at their facilities.
Norwegian Mycelium (NoMy) converts food industry by-products into sustainable, protein-rich ingredients using proprietary fungal fermentation technology. Its versatile ingredients support applications ranging from plant-based meat and dairy alternatives to snacks and baked goods.
vGreens combines biophotonic sensors with AI to monitor plant metabolism in real time and optimise crop production. Its technology helps growers improve yields, predict harvest timing, enhance quality and reduce pesticide use.
Winterleap develops microwave-based technology to eliminate weeds and soil-borne pests through targeted winter soil treatment. Its solution combines hardware, biological data and AI to improve treatment effectiveness while preserving beneficial soil life.
