The very first edition of the Tech Tour Mental & Brain Health will take place at the Nova Business School in the Carcavelos Campus.

We will select 30 Mental Health & Brain Tech companies developing highly innovative technologies and solutions that promote mental health, wellness and resilience, as well as biopharmaceuticals, hardware- and software-based solutions that prevent, screen, treat, monitor, rehabilitate, engage, care for and support patients and caregivers suffering with some of the most common debilitating neuro-psychiatric and neurological disorders.

Conditions of particular interest include Parkinsons, Alzheimer’s / Dementia, ALS, but also other less prevalent neurological disorders, epilepsy, pain, substance use disorders, eating disorders, mood and sleep disorders, ADHD, dyslexia and other developmental disorders.

Relevant technologies at the convergence of medical devices, biopharmaceuticals and consumer health tech include, but are not limited to: imaging, brain-computer interfaces, wearables, implantable, connected devices, biopharmaceuticals, digital therapeutics (DTx), digital biomarkers, clinical trial software, modelling and simulations, remote monitoring, tech-enabled care delivery, etc.
