The 63 selected companies have already raised a total of €1.35 Billion in investments from 588 investors — with 21 of them being backed by EIC.
Excitement is building up for the upcoming Tech Tour Defence 2025 investment programme, with a live gathering set for October 30-31 during the European Defence Week in Paris, hosted by Bpifrance. With 63 selected companies, hand-picked by 80+ seasoned investors, the setup that is shaping up is unmatched. As always, the selected companies are chosen from a large pool of applicants through a collaborative scouting and review process.
Key insights on participating companies:
Geographical spread: A total of 63 companies were selected, coming from 18 countries — with France, Germany and the Netherlands in the lead.
Strong backing: Over 45 companies have already raised Series A or Seed rounds, with €21.4 Million on average in amount raised.
Most represented subsectors: Half of selected companies are in the Electronics/Semiconductors, Security or Space subsectors.
Investor commitment: Some 588 investors have already backed the companies, with the European Innovation Council (EIC), the EU Space Programmes and Bpifrance having backed the largest number of companies.
