Top Presenters Announced: European Hydrogen Giga-scale Generation & Storage Investment Summit 2025 in Toledo

The European Hydrogen Giga-scale Generation & Storage Investment Summit 2025 unfolded on 3-4 April in Toledo, Spain, bringing together Europe’s most forward-thinking startups and seasoned investors in the rapidly accelerating hydrogen economy.

The summit provided a high-energy platform for exploring giga-scale hydrogen generation, advanced storage solutions, and next-gen infrastructure. With over 30 selected companies and more than 100 One2One meetings across three key tech tracks—Hydrogen Components & System Design/EPC, Hydrogen Generation & Renewables, and Hydrogen Storage & Infrastructure—the event was a true meeting ground of capital, talent, and innovation.

From breakthrough electrolyzers to modular hydrogen storage systems, this year’s top presenting companies captured attention with transformative technologies and visionary roadmaps.

Top Presenting Companies

Adele Hydrogen is revolutionizing water electrolysis with a next-generation electrode technology that slashes energy consumption by 20% and doubles hydrogen output—without relying on critical raw materials or platinum group metals. Engineered for industrial scale and protected by patents, Adele’s cost-effective, iron-tolerant solution sets a new benchmark for green hydrogen production.

H2Pro’s E-TAC technology redefines water splitting with a membrane-free process that delivers 30% higher efficiency than traditional electrolysis and achieves up to 95% overall efficiency. Safer, scalable, and cost-effective, E-TAC paves the way for $1/kg green hydrogen—making clean energy truly competitive.

H2SITE, a spin-off from TECNALIA and the Technical University of Eindhoven, has developed advanced membrane reactor technology that enables efficient hydrogen production and separation from diverse feedstocks—ideal for small and mid-scale users. Backed by ENGIE and rapidly scaling, H2SITE is now deploying its first commercial reactors and launching a world-first membrane manufacturing line.

Hydros Power is developing a game-changing hydrogen module tailored for logistics vehicles, tackling one of the biggest barriers to hydrogen adoption: distribution. Founded by a dynamic trio blending engineering, business, and marketing expertise, the company aims to make decentralized, cost-effective hydrogen access a global reality.

Naco Technologies future-proofs hydrogen systems with advanced nano coatings that prevent corrosion at 30% lower cost than traditional methods. Offering robust, material-flexible protection without compromising performance, their solution boosts reliability and quality in the rapidly scaling green hydrogen industry.

SunGreenH2 is redefining green hydrogen production with cutting-edge nanostructured materials that double output and slash energy use—without relying on costly platinum group metals. Their high-performance electrolyzers dramatically reduce stack size and cost, unlocking affordable, scalable on-site hydrogen for industry, transport, and energy storage worldwide.

The summit was a collaboration of key hydrogen stakeholders and investment leaders, further strengthened by the innovative ecosystem in Toledo, a growing hub for clean energy initiatives. Investors praised the event’s curated format and sector-specific sessions that sparked in-depth exchanges and opened concrete investment opportunities.

Hosted by Tech Tour and Castilla-La Mancha and supported by Hydrogen Europe, Repsol, Holcim, as well as the EIC Scaling Club, the European Hydrogen Giga-scale Generation & Storage Investment Summit 2025 reaffirmed Europe’s leadership in driving the hydrogen economy forward.
