Next Gen Integrated Circuits 2024 Award Winners
The Tech Tour Next Gen Integrated Circuits 2024 Investment Programme concluded with a live event on 15-16 October 2024 in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Over sixty investors participated in the programme, which showcased nineteen emerging companies selected to present their cutting-edge technologies. Six of these companies were recognised and awarded for their exceptional presentations:
Axelera AI delivers an AI-native, game-changing hardware and software platform to accelerate artificial intelligence. The company is developing a disruptive AI hardware and software platform for accelerating computer vision and natural language processing in edge devices.
CUbIQ Technologies is pioneering a new era of secure communications through their innovative quantum technology platform. Their low-power electronic-photonic integrated quantum optical transceiver leverages advanced signal processing to achieve breakthrough reductions in power consumption and cost.
eyeo revolutionises imaging with its game changing image sensors, designed for smartphones and a wide range of other applications. Utilizing their proprietary technology to split light into colours, eyeo overcomes a fundamental limitation of current image sensors, significantly enhancing light sensitivity.
Innatera develops ultra-low power intelligence for sensors, creating neuromorphic processors that mimic the brain’s mechanisms for sensory perception. These chips enable sensor data to be processed 100x faster and with up to 500x less energy compared to conventional processors.
Quix Quantum is the European market leader for quantum computing hardware based on photonics. The company is building the first universal photonic quantum computer in Europe. The core technology behind their photonic quantum computers is already commercially available.
Superlight Photonics, a leader in laser technology, specializes in developing supercontinuum (wideband or white) lasers. Focused on applications like spectrometry, OCT, surface inspection, crop management, and pollution detection, the company pioneers transformative photon-IC (PIC) solutions.
