The Tech Tour Energy & Decarbonisation 2024 Investment Programme is meticulously crafted to facilitate meaningful connections, strategic partnerships, and (co-)investments within the energy sector.
Eighty-seven companies were selected for the programme by a Panel of leading investors using a collaborative scouting and review methodology. These companies represent the forefront of sustainable technology and innovation.

Investor commitment: The investors in this programme boast an impressive track record, with a total of 4,791 investments and a combined investment of €128.5 billion in the past. Of these investors, 65% are from investment funds, while 35% are corporate investors.
Funding achieved: The selected companies have collectively raised €1 billion in previous funding rounds, demonstrating their ability to attract substantial financial support.
Top countries by selected companies: The selected companies span multiple European countries, with Germany leading the count at 30 companies. The United Kingdom follows with 9 companies, the Netherlands with 8, Switzerland with 7, and Denmark with 5.
Most represented subsectors: The selected companies are concentrated in key subsectors, with clean energy making up 27% of the cohort. Energy efficiency follows closely, representing 25% of the companies, while energy storage comprises 19%.

The programme will culminate in an exclusive two-day event on 26-27 November 2024 in Essen, Germany, designed to catalyse further investments and strategic partnerships. The event will feature:
• 80+ Selected Companies: The most promising growth companies, meticulously chosen by a Selection Panel composed of seasoned investors, will present their cutting-edge solutions.
• 100+ Seasoned Investors: VCs, sustainability-focused investors, corporate leaders, and representatives from government and financial institutions will converge, bringing with them extensive experience and capital.
• 500+ One2One Meetings: Participants will engage in over 500 pre-scheduled meetings, fostering deep, impactful connections that could shape the future of energy.
