Space capabilities providing security - a seminar on the role of space assets in security and defence
Space plays a pivotal role in ensuring safety and security. With key space capabilities such as the orbital launch site at Andøya, Norway is set to play a key role in securing access to space. Norway also have a significant number of assets in space ensuring information and connectivity for defence and security purposes. The latest example is the Arctic Satellite Broadband Mission (ASBM) launched on August 11th . The two satellites in the mission owned by Space Norway carries payloads from both US and Norwegian armed forces as well as commercial payload. Join us for the seminar and hear for perspectives from different players within space and security and join the discussion on the way forward.
