Food technologies play an increasingly important role in Europe’s commercial and healthcare systems, as population demographics change and political focus shifts to disease prevention and healthy lifestyle.

Organised by Europe Unlimited, the sixth edition of the European Food Venture Forum will take place on August 31 and September 1, 2016 in Aarhus, Denmark.
The role of entrepreneurs, industry and investors is essential to successful creation of a knowledge driven economy within the European food sector. The European Food Venture Forum will offer a unique platform for food high-growth companies, technology corporations, and international investors to exchange knowledge and build lasting business co-operations.
Some 30 early stage companies from across Europe will be selected to present  at the Forum by members of the Selection Committee who will asses them on the basis of their business potential, technology merit, competitive position, investment interest and team experience.
The selected companies have the opportunity to present in front of an international audience at the upcoming European Food Venture Forum, where they will have the chance to meet active international investors and corporations seeking investment.
From September 2th to 4th, 2016, the city of Aarhus will also host the Food Festival. You can check the programme at below link:

Testimonials from past editions of EFVF

Jake Norman - OAL Group - Award winner EFVF 2014

"The European Food Venture Forum was a great event to present Steam Infusion, our revolutionary heating and mixing technology. I learnt a lot whilst at the event and connected with a number of interesting individuals that have created significant opportunities for our technology."

Thor Sigfusson - Codlans - Award winner EFVF 2013

"At the European Food Venture Forum 2013 I enjoyed the opportunity to meet people from various backgrounds in the food industry other than mine.  I was positively surprised by the innovative ideas and valuable pieces of advice gained at the forum through the networking and one2one meetings with investors and other entrepreneurs. This is what makes these forums work wonders!"
