Tech Tour is thrilled to support the expansion of the Golden Ticket Programme into Europe, following the successful launch in the US. With this Programme, Bayer Crop Science is providing an exceptional opportunity for start-ups in regenerative agriculture to access lab space, infrastructure, funding, and global networks at their innovation hub, LifeHub Monheim in Germany. Up to six golden tickets are on offer, giving promising ag-tech companies the chance to innovate and grow in a world-class environment.
What’s on offer for winners of the Golden Ticket?
Start-ups selected through this Programme will benefit from a 2-year lease of lab and office space, with the first year being completely free of charge. They will also, where feasible, gain access to Bayer’s cutting-edge infrastructure and facilities, which include greenhouses, climate chambers, and advanced analytics, offering invaluable resources for accelerating their innovations. Moreover, they will be eligible to receive up to €50,000 in non-dilutive funding to support a collaborative proof of concept (PoC) or pilot study, helping them bring their regenerative agriculture solutions to market.
Beyond funding and infrastructure, selected start-ups will be fully integrated into Bayer’s global innovation network, giving them exposure to all key partners and stakeholders. To ensure success, each start-up will be assigned a dedicated Bayer expert and partnership manager who will provide guidance and support throughout their innovation journey. Additionally, they will have the exclusive opportunity to pitch their projects to LEAPS by Bayer, the company’s corporate venture capital fund. Importantly, there are no legal obligations for further collaboration or claims on intellectual property, ensuring start-ups retain full control of their data and IP.
