1st Session: Why invest in service innovation at the regional level? The rationale

  2nd Session: What is being done? Supporting new service concepts through Structural Funds – practical examples
This session will provide information about practical “good practice” examples that have been implemented at regional level in support of services and/or service innovations.  Availability of public funding is a critical element for the development and successful implementation of new service concepts. These examples shall illustrate how Structural Funds aid can be successfully applied to promoting service innovation.

  4th Session: The next frontier - policies and initiatives of the future
This session will present new ideas on how to better support services and service innovations in all of its forms. Europe INNOVA projects provide fresh ideas that are waiting for a wider implementation and new forms of service innovation support can be observed in some advanced regions. Supporting service innovation often calls for radically new approaches, and this session will look into them. This shall be done in form of short elevator pitch presentation that will then be commented by a jury of experts. Later, the audience will have the opportunity to vote on them to choose their favourites.
