Healthtech: Moving from technologies to solutions
For its 8th edition, the Healthtech Summit returned to Lausanne on 26 - 28 June 2017 and once again focused on showcasing the top 20 medtech and top 20 digital health companies in Europe. The 40 presenting companies, represented by their CEOs and carefully selected by our Selection Committees, had the opportunity to network with key international investors who can assist them with their global expansion plans. Furthermore, the program saw a balanced and varied succession of corporate presentations, interactive plenary sessions on opportunities related to accelerating investment as well as dedicated networking sessions, Networking Dinner and Lunch. The 2017 edition of the Healthtech Summit focused on Medtech & Diagnostics and Digital Health.
"Over the next 20 years, the over 65 years old population in Europe will increase by 45%! In parallel the money available in all the major healthcare systems is flat or reducing. In addition we are witnessing a consolidation and an integration of insurers, purchasers, suppliers. The Healthtech Summit is the ideal forum where Medtech, Digital Health, Diagnostics, corporates, start-up’s, VC’s and investors can openly understand, discuss, debate the market trends and review how the ecosystem is evolving to face these accelerated trends. It is the place where Medtech meets Digital Health, Big Data, Diagnostics, Prevention, Solutions. At the 2017 Summit, CEO’s, executives and investors will have the opportunity to define the future of Healthtech!"
