Food Innovation House The 3000 square meters in the house holds facilities for innovation – a big kitchen and bakery for experimenting, a demo-supermarket, a demo-restaurant, photo studio, an exhibition area and a taste lab – facilities that can help food producers develop and commercialize new food products. Furthermore, events, lectures, exhibitions, match making and social events will take place in Food Innovation House together with matchmaking with knowledge fra universities and other companies and last but not least capital both from business angles and cooperate. The presence of unique facilities for innovation means that a company can develop new dishes in the kitchen or the bakery while - through cameras installed in the house - live streaming is taking place with colleagues all over the world or attached specialists, customers, suppliers or i.e. social media. The demo-mini market of 120 m2 offers due to its authentic shop layout the possibility of exposing new goods, test of consumer behavior and patterns, design and test of new shop equipment and POS material, photo sessions, mini-trade fairs etc. Again, here you have the possibility of streaming the activities. A taste lab has been installed allowing the companies to carry out sensorial tests. The lab is divided into boxes, ensuring the test person to work quietly and concentrated while judging taste, smell, texture etc. A great advantage is that a sensory test can easily take place during a lunch break among the tenants of the house. In that way you can get a quick indication of a product’s potential. Everybody can rent the facilities. International Food Week Want to experience the Danish food hub from its best side?
